Pakistan-UAE trade growth satisfactory
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The total UAE-Pakistan trade volume will reach AED 19.7 billion in 2021, an increase of 23% compared to 2020, and Ajman-Pakistan trade volume growth last year reached 30% in 5 years.
Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), affirmed the Chamber’s desire to consolidate external relations and build strong partnerships for sustainable future growth of the emirate’s economy.
This was brought up during his meeting with Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the UAE at the ACCI headquarters on Saturday, where they discussed ways of joint economic cooperation, strengthening bilateral relations, and reviewed available investment opportunities in industry, trade, tourism and education sector.
Abdullah Al Muwaiji welcomed the participants at the start of the meeting, commending the deep-rooted fraternity between the UAE and Pakistan at the leadership and people level, and underlining the importance of this meeting discussing opportunities for cooperation and partnership between Ajman and Pakistan in Many areas, explained that ACCI is keen to strengthen its external relations and partnerships for sustainable future growth of Ajman’s economy.
Faisal Niaz Tirmizi praised Ajman’s development revival and stressed the need for mutual missions and visits to understand the opportunities available in various fields, explaining that the economic potential and opportunities of Pakistan and Ajman will open new horizons to increase Internal trade and joint cooperation, according to the Emirates News Agency.
ACCI reviews investment opportunities in Ajman in sectors such as industry, trade, construction, real estate, tourism, health, transport and infrastructure, as well as efforts to provide an economic environment
It is characterized by flexibility and quick completion of transactions. An overview of the most notable exhibitions and events organized by the Ajman Chamber of Commerce is also presented.
Also present were ACCI Second Vice-President Sheikh Sultan Bin Saqr Al Nuaimi and ACCI Acting Director General Mohamed Ali Al Janahi.
