ABU DHABI – As part of its ‘Al Solh Khair’ (Better Reconciliation) initiative, the Abu Dhabi Department of Justice (ADJD) continues to organize lectures, outreach workshops and consultation sessions aimed at strengthening family stability and building strong A cohesive family of values.
A press release from ADJD on Monday said the initiative aims to reduce divorce cases by providing spouses with the necessary skills to overcome difficulties they may encounter in their marriages, thereby enabling spouses to resolve their differences amicably.
These regular lectures and workshops are part of the Ministry of Justice’s continuation of the Support for Family Stability Program under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Courts and Chairman of Abu Dhabi part of the judiciary, ensuring social cohesion.
In a recent webinar titled “Family Values and Their Impact on Family Stability”, ADJD Senior Family Consultant Dr. Turki Al Qahtani emphasized the importance of upholding fundamental values such as respect, affection, loyalty, tolerance, patience and forgiveness, And a set of righteous principles and ideals that families should embrace.
Dr Al Qahtani also stressed the need to uphold “our identities, origins and deep-rooted roots, customs and traditions, all of which are governed by the teachings of Islam, to form an integrated system that inspires serious work to protect the family.”
