Emirates is expected to usher in another busy weekend, with the travel season intensifying – Dubai Blog

Emirates expects a large number of passengers to pass through Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport this weekend (July 16-17) as the number of passengers will reach the highest level since the pandemic began. Due to increased security measures and COVID-19 travel requirements checks, passengers may experience longer than expected waiting times at Emirates check-in counters.

Customers departing from Dubai are encouraged to check in in advance and put down their luggage early to avoid long waiting times. Customers can check in up to 24 hours before departure, and passengers flying to the United States can check in 12 hours before departure.

Customers are also reminded to ensure that all relevant documents are prepared and check the latest travel requirements to the booked destination, including whether forms, vaccination certificates, or PCR tests are negative. Passengers are also advised to ensure that they arrive at the boarding gate on time. The boarding gate opens 90 minutes before departure and closes 20 minutes before departure. If passengers report late, Emirates will not be able to accept them for travel.
