Covid-19: ‘There are no restrictions’ Hong Kong’s John Lee tells UAE Forum despite city-wide mandatory wearing of masks

Chief Executive Lee Kar-chau has again claimed that there are “no restrictions” in Hong Kong amid the Covid-19 pandemic, although there is no timetable for lifting the mandatory wearing of masks. All visitors and residents face a HK$5,000 fine if they fail to wear a mask in public.

Meanwhile, three sports centers will be closed until mid-February due to the pandemic, while students will still be required to take daily rapid tests to attend school. People arriving from overseas will also have to show a negative rapid test result to enter.
