LONDON, Feb. 11 (AP) — British filmmaker Hugh Hudson made his feature film directorial debut with the Oscar-winning Olympic drama “Chariots of Fire,” and went on to make “My Life” and “My Life.” Critically acclaimed films such as the Academy Awards. Nominated “Gray Pen,” has died at the age of 86.

In 1981, producer David Puttnam asked Hudson to direct Chariots of Fire, starring Ben Cross and Nigel Havers. Havers, who played British athletes of various religions and backgrounds at the 1924 Olympics.

He has had success with future film projects. In 1984, Ralph Richardson starred in his final film, Gray Pen: The Legend of Tarzan, a box office success that earned him three Oscar nominations.

But two years later, he was nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award for directing the critical and commercial failure “Revolution.” His other credits include “My Life So Far”, “Lost Angels” and “Altamira”. He also co-wrote Tiger’s Nest, out in 2022.
