Agra (Uttar Pradesh) [India]February 26 (ANI): Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik Andre Henrik Christian and Crown Princess Mary Elizabeth visited the iconic Taj Mahal in Agra on Sunday.

The Danish royal couple arrived in India on Monday for a four-day visit that runs from Sunday 26 February to 2 March. The Crown Prince and Crown Princess of Denmark were notified by the official Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Arindam Bagchi, on his Twitter account.

Arindam Bagchi said that the royal couple’s visit will further strengthen and enhance the close and friendly relations between India and Denmark.

Bagchi tweeted: “Danish Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary arrived in India for a 4-day visit. This is Denmark’s first royal visit in two decades. Will further strengthen and strengthen our close and friendly relationship nation.”

During his visit to India, Danish Crown Prince Frederik André Henrik Christian will hold talks with Vice President Jagdeep Danhal.

The Crown Prince of Denmark will address the opening session of the India-Denmark: Partnerships in Green and Sustainable Development Conference organized by CII. He will also meet President Droupadi Murmu, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) said in a press release. During the visit, the Danish royal couple will also visit Chennai.

The royal couple will leave Chennai on March 2. The Danish Foreign Minister Lars Roker Rasmussen, the Environment Minister Magnus Hynek, the Minister of Climate, Energy and Utilities will be accompanied by senior officials and a high-level business delegation.
