Abu Dhabi Economic Summit strategically timed to meet current needs

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), said: “The Abu Dhabi Economic Summit is strategically timed to meet the current needs, with the rapidly changing global economic landscape, and Using digitization and sustainability as the two fundamental pillars driving economic growth. The Abu Dhabi Chamber will use the summit’s outcomes to develop a comprehensive plan focused on identifying investment opportunities that will benefit the business community. This is our approach to raising awareness of changes in the global economy part of an effort to recognize and represent, support and protect the interests of the business community in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

This was part of the Chamber’s participation yesterday at the Abu Dhabi Economic Summit, hosted by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, The Economist Impact Organization, under the theme “Looking Ahead: New Frontiers for Economic Growth”. During the event, the Chamber highlighted the goals of its new strategy for the next three years to more than 300 experts and officials from the public and private sectors. The Chamber described its particular strengths and services to support the private sector and drive economic growth in Abu Dhabi, and highlighted its role as policy advocate, liaison and service provider.

His Excellency added: “The Emirate of Abu Dhabi provides key incentives to drive private sector growth and growth. The Emirate will focus on attracting and retaining skilled people from around the world to contribute to the country’s sustainable economic development. Coming Soon The new phase requires a greater commitment to supporting the private sector, which plays a key role in laying the foundations for a knowledge economy, through the implementation of targeted strategies centered on digitization and sustainability.

The Abu Dhabi Chamber has launched a new 3-year strategy from 2023 to 2025, which focuses on serving the Abu Dhabi economy and strengthening its position as the “Voice of the Private Sector”. Under its new strategy, the Abu Dhabi Chamber aims to empower and enhance the competitiveness of Abu Dhabi’s private sector, making Abu Dhabi the place of choice for doing business in the MENA region by 2025.
