Bangalore: Bengaluru’s Kempegowd International Airport (KIA) has once again received global recognition.Kia Airport has been recognized as the best airport in the world according to the latest consumer satisfaction survey by Airports Council International (ACI)
Responding to the ACI’s endorsement, Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL) said, “Efficient disembarkation procedures, streamlined immigration and customs processes, organized baggage claim services and the availability of infrastructure such as transit hotels and AI-assisted robots have helped A smooth arrival experience for passengers at BLR Airport.”
The ACI survey analyzed more than 30 performance indicators covering key elements of the passenger airport experience, such as ease of finding your way, check-in, and parameters such as shopping and dining services.
Kempegowda Airport topped the list by number of 15 participating airports worldwide.

ACI Director General Luis Felipe also congratulated the Kia authorities for their success in the Airport Service Quality Award. ASQ is the world’s leading measure of airport customer experience, carried out at more than 340 airports around the world, and is considered the industry standard for measuring airport service quality.
