Emirates Health Services (EHS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Women’s Pharmacy College to upskill students and EHS technicians and support joint efforts in lifelong medical education programmes.
The MoU aims to facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise between the two entities to support and develop scientific research, foster innovation, advance employee education in all pharmaceutical specialties, and provide training opportunities for female students. Other goals include strengthening relationships, building capacity, and increasing the effectiveness of the pharmaceutical industry’s EHS workforce.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah Al-Naqbi, Acting Executive Director, EHS Supportive Health Services, and Prof. Saeed Ahmed Khan, Dean, Dubai College of Women’s Pharmacy, in the presence of officials from both parties.
Strategic objectives
Al-Naqbi underscored the importance of EHS’ partnership with the Faculty to promote medical education, reflecting EHS’ growing commitment to strengthen collaboration with various scientific institutions in the UAE towards common strategic goals and to provide top-notch training services and professional development for staff Chance.
Dr Al-Naqbi added that the new partnership also lays the foundation for training a generation of academically and professionally competent pharmacists who can advance innovation and scientific research and effectively contribute to the development of professional programs.
Under the MoU, EHS will provide training opportunities to students of the Dubai School of Pharmacy for Women at its affiliated facilities, which contributes to the shared objective of both entities to achieve the highest scientific standards in training.
EHS has expanded the scope of its strategic partnerships by signing a series of collaboration agreements and memorandums of understanding with health and scientific institutions and institutions at local, regional and international levels to facilitate the exchange of experience and achieve its goal of developing the healthcare industry.- – trade arab news agency
