Air Arabia Abu Dhabi marks its first flight to Amman

Yesterday (March 12), Abu Dhabi Airways, the first low-cost airline in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, marked the inauguration of its first flight to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman.

The airline will fly the Airbus 320 on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Prior to departure, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at Abu Dhabi International Airport in the presence of senior representatives of the Air Arabia Group and Abu Dhabi Airports.

Adel Al Ali, Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are delighted to launch Air Arabia’s inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Amman and we thank our partners who contributed to this successful launch. Products and contributing to their travel experience through our network is at the top of our strategy. We are committed to serving leisure and business customers and promoting tourism in both countries.”

Maureen Bannerman, Chief Commercial Officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “We are proud to see an increase in travel routes and airline options, this time with Air Arabia between Abu Dhabi and Amman. . We continue to expand our offerings to provide more options for guests departing from our airport, positioning Abu Dhabi International Airport as the airport of choice.”

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi continues to strengthen its global connectivity to and from the UAE capital, flying non-stop from Abu Dhabi International Airport to a total of 34 destinations in the subcontinent, GCC, Russia, Africa and Europe.

The new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport and Queen Alia International Airport with a frequency of three flights per week.

Air Arabia operates a fleet of 68 Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft, the most modern and best-selling single-aisle aircraft in the world. The planes are also equipped with ‘SkyTime’, free in-flight streaming services and an in-flight ‘SkyCafe’ menu, offering travelers delicious meals at affordable prices. – trade arab news agency
