Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates: The Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) today announced the opening of Al Masar Park in Khalifa, Abu Dhabi, which will provide an integrated and exceptional experience for residents and visitors of the emirate. The park provides additional leisure and recreational facilities, in line with DMT’s strategy to increase green spaces and public facilities to improve the quality of life in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. The project is in line with Abu Dhabi’s urban development plan, promoting sustainable development and delivering qualitative programs that position Abu Dhabi as a premier destination for living, working and visiting.
The new park offers a wide range of facilities and facilities, including a multi-purpose sports field with spotlights and beach volleyball, badminton and basketball courts. The new park features a 2.1 kilometer jogging track and is dotted with 2,841 trees, 58,000 shrubs and ground cover. In addition, it has parking for up to 97 cars, including four parking spaces for the disabled.
