Sands China Ltd. said Wednesday that it has signed a new comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with China Star Media Holdings Ltd., aimed at further developing Macau’s diversified tourism projects.
Star CM is known as the largest variety show IP creation operator in China. Its relationship with Sands China dates back to 2012, and the two companies have collaborated on more than 20 projects, including the Chinese Music Festival and the singing competition TV show “Sing! According to an announcement on Wednesday, the new cooperation agreement will “elevate their long-term partnership to a new level, aiming to create more diverse tourism programs and support Macau as a world center of tourism and leisure.

The main areas of focus will be large-scale innovative entertainment projects that combine live performances, TV and online channels; live interactive performance experience shows that combine classic IP elements; Star CM classic IP movie product placement or other cooperation methods; comprehensive cooperation with Star CM large-scale variety shows programs; and Star CM’s project cooperation with the theme of classic IP scenes.
“The two parties have confirmed that they will cooperate on a number of projects this year, including the 2023 China Music Festival, Let’s Sing! China Macau Concert 2023, Star Street Dance Festival 2023 and live interactive performances and experience shows that combine classic IP elements,” Sands China said. .
