Entertainment industry pays tribute to late Paul O’Grady

Celebrities and public figures pay tribute to the late Paul O’Grady his recent death.

O’Grady, known for his cool drag queen character Lily Savage and for presenting light entertainment such as blanket blankpassed away last night (March 28).

O’Grady’s husband, Andrea Portacio, confirmed he died “unexpectedly but peacefully”. The cause of death is unknown.

After O’Grady rose to fame in the ’90s as a drag queen, he continues to host The Paul O’Grady Show It aired on ITV from 2004 to 2005 before moving to Channel 4 from 2006 to 2009. The chat show was later revived on ITV in 2013 and ran for two years.

In 2013, the talk show was guest-hosted after O’Grady’s health problems. He had suffered heart attacks in 2002 and 2006, the latter incident requiring him to remain in intensive care.
