Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a major ceremony on Friday evening to honor various media entities.
The ceremony was attended by a group of journalists and local media representatives, businessmen and local department officials.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouei, chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, welcomed the participants and praised the local Arabic and English-language media. He said given that the entity is highlighting all business and economic activities as well as emphasizing the development, sustainability and support of the private sector in the national economy.
Al Mazrouei expressed his delight to the media professionals at the ceremony, paying tribute to them and thanking them for their work in highlighting the activities of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the support of the private sector. He said this was a good evidence of the strong mutual relationship between the media and the chamber, especially between the media and the private sector.
Al Mazrouei added that the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s strategy rests on its principle of building strong partnerships and relationships with the media. He said the doors of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry officials are open to all media representatives to obtain information from credible sources.
Al Mazrouei presented certificates of appreciation to many representatives and representatives of local newspapers and media operating in Abu Dhabi.
