Abu Dhabi: Four Indian expatriates have won the grand prize of AED 100,000 (Rs 22,35,261) each in the Abu Dhabi Grand Lottery weekly draw on Monday, April 17, 2023.
The winners of Krishna Prakash Karuvankavil, Sreejith PS, Vinay Vas and Dilip Devanand Devnani won their prizes after matching five of the six winning numbers.
Dilip Devanand Devnani, winner of the first weekly draw, is currently the Head of Business Unit of a company in Dubai.
He plans to donate 10% of it to charity and send the rest home.
Second week draw winner Vinay Vas works as a Business Development Manager in the UAE. He has lived in Abu Dhabi for the past 23 years.
Sreejith PS is the winner of the third weekly draw and works as a nurse in Qatar. He has been living in Doha for the past eight years.
When asked how he planned to spend his share of the winnings, Sreejith told Big Ticket representatives that he planned to take his family on a visit to their home country, Gulf News reported.
Krishna Prakash is the fourth weekly draw winner and currently owns a business in Dubai. He plans to invest his winnings in his business and hopes to become a grand prize winner one day.
Big ticket participants who purchased raffle tickets in April will automatically be entered into a weekly electronic draw where four winners will win AED 100,000.
Anyone who buys tickets during the promotion will also stand a chance to win a grand prize worth AED 15 million on 3 May.
