Dubai Police Emergency Calls Handles 1.3 Million Calls in Q2 2026

Dubai Police Smashes Emergency Response Targets This Quarter

Dubai’s emergency responders have had a seriously busy few months, and the numbers prove it. Dubai Police emergency calls through its Command-and-Control Centre crossed 1.3 million during the second quarter of 2026, all while keeping response times impressively fast.

The force answered 99.8% of emergency calls within just 10 seconds, well above its own target of 97%. Patrol coverage across police station jurisdictions also hit 98.8%, beating the 97% goal set for the year.

Major General Hareb Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs, said these numbers reflect ongoing efforts to sharpen operational efficiency and keep Dubai prepared for any situation.

He also highlighted a “mystery shopper” system, where officers reach out to residents after they’ve used a police service to check how satisfied they were and gather honest feedback.

A workforce study was also reviewed during the quarterly meeting, looking at staffing needs within the Command-and-Control Centre to keep response times sharp as call volumes grow. For residents, the takeaway is simple: help is picking up fast, whether it’s a genuine emergency or just a quick query.
