UK sales agency Mister Smith Entertainment to launch global sales of US filmmaker Weston Razooli’s feature film debut, action and adventure comedy at Cannes The mystery of fire. The film will have its world premiere at Directors’ Fortnight.
In New Fairytale, set in Wyoming, USA, three mischievous children embark on an adventure when their mother asks them to run errands.
fire mystery Leo Tipton, Charles Halford, Charlie Stover, Skyler Peters, Phoebe Ferro and Lorelai Olivia Mott will star. It is produced by David Atrakchi, co-founder of Franco-American production companies Fulldawa Films, Sohrab Mirmont, Razooli and Tipton.
The executive producers are Marlowe Griffin Lyddon, Brendan Griffin Lyddon, David Wiener, Kate Wiener, Jay Van Hoy and Sophie Meister.
Los Angeles-based Razooli has previously directed short films, including Anaxia, shadow of heaven and happy boy friday.
David Garrett, founder of Mr Smith Entertainment, said: “This film is an absolute treat, with director Weston Lazuli’s voice so unique – it’s sure to please anyone fortunate enough to bask in his story people were surprised and excited.”
