SHARJAH 24 – WAM: Jassim Mohammed Al Abdouli, on his tenure as Consul General of the United Arab Emirates in Geneva, was received by Mauro Poggia, President of the National Congress of the Republic and Geneva, at the Government Headquarters.
Al Abdouli conveyed the message from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Maktoum, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Deputy Greetings from President His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Poja, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidency, and their wishes for the further development and prosperity of the Swiss Confederation.
For his part, Boja, he extended his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktou, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Poggia wished the Consul General every success in strengthening the relationship between the UAE and the Swiss Confederation.
For his part, Al Abdouli expressed his appreciation to the Chairman of the Grand Council, noting his desire to further develop relations between the two countries in various fields, especially economic, trade, cultural and scientific.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of issues of mutual concern, prospects for bilateral cooperation between the UAE and the Swiss Confederation, and ways to expand cooperation to meet the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
