Emirates News Agency – Abdullah bin Zayed receives NDC delegation

ABU DHABI, 11th May, 2023 (WAM) — His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a delegation from the National Defense College, NDC, The delegation was led by Major General Salim Saeed Al Shamsi, who is the NDC.

Sheikh Abdullah extended a warm welcome to the delegation from NDC, a world-renowned professional scientific institution that plays a vital role in nurturing national talents in multiple professional fields. During the meeting, he outlined the academy’s academic and training programs focusing on analytical and planning skills related to safeguarding the UAE’s national interests, capabilities and achievements.

Sheikh Abdullah praised the efforts of the college’s administrative and teaching staff, as well as the commitment of its members to acquire modern knowledge and skills. He also commended the academy’s various initiatives and partnerships with various institutions to realize the UAE’s national goals and future aspirations.

Members of the delegation expressed their delight during their meeting with Sheikh Abdullah and affirmed that the UAE is a global model that empowers and qualifies youth to serve the country for the future and maintain its leadership and progress.
