Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) signs agreement with Dubai Aerotropolis and Dubai Economic Zone to accelerate digitization of aviation operations
The agreements, which were signed in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Emirates Airline and Group Chairman and CEO, aim to leverage the “network Services” technology facilitates enhanced cooperation and integrated links to issue licenses in the aviation sector for commercial activities, thereby enabling DCAA to immediately approve commercial licensing transactions for Al Maktoum International Airport and Dubai Airport Free Zone.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlines key objectives, including implementing Dubai’s paperless strategy through advanced technology, establishing an integrated system for paperless government operations, and ensuring data exchange between entities. The MoU also seeks to automate DACC’s commercial license verification, providing customers with a seamless and streamlined experience through a single integrated link portal.
The cooperation agreement between the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the Dubai Integrated Economic Zone Authority calls for the integration of data and information through a fully integrated and activated blockchain technology connection.
