Sea World Entertainment (New York Stock Exchange:sea area) announced that SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s Yas Island theme park is now open Open.
The park is the company’s first to open outside of the United States and the first marine life-themed park in the UAE.the opening Also marks SeaWorld’s first new theme park (sea area) for over 30 years.
Yas Island SeaWorld Abu Dhabi offers up-close animal encounters, experiences and demonstrations to learn about the unique characteristics and behavior of fascinating sea animals such as dolphins, sharks and turtles. With more than 20 walking characters and performances daily, entertainment abounds as guests venture out in the park. Guests can refuel their One Ocean journey with 17 different dining experiences, ranging from convenient on-the-go snacks to fine dining.
The theme park spans five indoor floors of 183,000 square meters. Aiming to tell a “compelling” One Ocean story, the featured areas are said to have unique themes and intricate designs. These realms take guests to different marine environments around the globe, starting with Abu Dhabi Oceans, continuing to One Ocean and then discovering the Arctic and Antarctic realms of Small Oceans, Endless Oceans, Tropical Oceans, Rock Point and Polar Oceans.
Sea World Entertainment (sea area) stated that the animal habitats in the park are designed according to the highest industry standards by leading animal care experts, scientists and engineers, using cutting-edge technology and a welfare-focused approach to simulate natural environments, providing not only an immersive experience For animals, but also for guests. The new park joins a family of three SeaWorld America parks, all of which have maintained US Humane certification over the years, among other animal welfare certifications.
