The first two weeks of summer vacation are the most popular holiday of the year, but also the most expensive. According to Skyscanner, passengers can save an average of 10% if they travel during the week of 19 August instead of early July, which equates to an average savings of Dh760 for a family of four!
Flexible travelers who can fly on less traveled days of the week can save up to 35% on flights this July and August. Also, there may be fewer people in the airport. For example, a family of four can save an average of AED 669 on return flights in July and August by traveling to Turkey on a Friday instead of a Saturday.
