Emirates News Agency – Saif bin Zayed chairs meeting of Ministry of Interior’s Happiness and Positivity Council

ABU DHABI, 1st June, 2023 (WAM) — Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, chaired the Happiness and Positive Committee meeting headquarters.

The meeting began with a comprehensive review of the Government Services Observatory’s findings. Mohammed bin Taliah, Head of Government Services at the UAE Government and member of the Government’s Higher Council for Digital Transformation, presented the results of the interactive platform.

The platform collects more than 1 million comments from the public every month, covering more than 1,400 government services. The digital platform showcases customers’ satisfaction with government services and collects their feedback through multiple channels including the website, smart apps and service delivery centers.

Evaluations include the availability of information, ease of access to services, and the entity’s interactions with customers.

Subsequently, the meeting discussed in depth a number of issues and measures related to advancing police work and strengthening preparedness for war. In addition, the meeting reviewed key performance indicators and key objectives within the operational framework.

Towards the end of the meeting, Sheikh Saif paid tribute to the UAE’s International Initiative for Climate Enforcement (I2LEC) working group. The initiative has gained international support after it was presented at the 32nd session of the United Nations Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice.

The lieutenant colonel was present. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Undersecretary of Dubai Police and Public Security; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Deputy Minister of Interior; Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior, and several officials.

HH Sheikh Saif reviews Dubai Police’s self-driving safety patrols, which were developed according to international standards

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed was briefed on the Dubai Police vehicle, which was developed by the Emirati and used as a “self-driving” security patrol vehicle. He was briefed on these vehicles, which specialize in safety, are based on advanced innovations and connect directly to the operator’s cabin for enhanced responsiveness.

These patrols can be broken down into two main types: large patrols targeting streets and exterior roads, and smaller patrols targeting neighborhoods and events. Both types perform traditional patrol duties as well as other important tasks.
