To promote traffic safety, the Abu Dhabi Police General Command has announced that the speed limit on Abu Dhabi’s Sweihan (also known as Suwaihan) Road – from Al Falah Bridge to Abu Dhabi International Airport – has been reset.
The speed limit will be reduced from 140 kilometers per hour to 120 kilometers per hour starting Sunday, June 4, according to a joint statement issued by the Abu Dhabi Police General Command and the Integrated Traffic Centre.
Abu Dhabi Police General Command shared a tweet to this effect. Signs have been posted informing drivers of the change.
