ADNOC Group has partnered with the Emirates Talent Competitiveness Council (ETCC) through its Nafis program to create an additional 5,000 private sector jobs for UAE nationals in its supply chain by 2027.
The partnership aims to enable Emirati talent to play a leading role in the sustainable development of the industrial sector and in meeting the demand for highly skilled professionals.
Announced at the Make it the Emirates Forum in Abu Dhabi, the agreement will unlock skilled jobs for Emirati talent in the private sector, ADNOC’s supply chain and help them succeed in their careers through a number of programs and incentives , these programs and incentives will enhance their skills and competitiveness.
ADNOC and Nafis are building on the achievements of ADNOC’s Domestic Value (ICV) programme, which has created 5,000 jobs for UAE nationals in the private sector since its launch in 2018.
Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and ADNOC Managing Director and Group CEO, said: “Cultivating and empowering talent is a top priority for ADNOC and we are delighted to once again partner with Nafis to create another 5,000 skilled talent in the UAE Employment opportunities for nationals in advanced fields such as nanotechnology, manufacturing, and machine learning.
Today, thousands of UAE nationals play key roles in ADNOC’s supply chain and help ensure we remain the world’s reliable low-carbon energy supplier.

ADNOC continues to work with its suppliers and partners to facilitate initiatives to develop local talent. The company has held six private sector career weeks over the past year to match local talent with employment opportunities with private setcor registered partners and suppliers.
Ghannam Butti Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of the UAE Talent Competitiveness Council, said: “The agreement with ADNOC to create 5,000 jobs for Emirati talent in private sector companies partnering with ADNOC by 2027 through the Domestic Value Program is the first since signing last year. The constructive partnership with ADNOC has quickly borne fruit since a memorandum of understanding, with ADNOC’s pace of job creation for the UAE within private sector supply chain companies accelerating significantly to reach 5,000 Job post, it’s an amazing achievement.
The agreement will also strengthen the framework for cooperation to achieve the strategic objectives of increasing the private sector emiratization rate and empowering our local talent in the labor market.
Through the agreement, ADNOC will provide training opportunities through Nafis’ apprenticeship program to 1,000 graduates from private companies operating in ADNOC’s supply chain.
Al Mazrouei noted that such collaborations will provide sustainable opportunities for Emiratis to prosper and excel in their career paths.
