West Point – Hopepel’s annual Championship Rodeo is scheduled for June 30 and July 1 at Hopepel Arena, 40891 State Highway 518.
Friday night is Veterans Night, and all veterans can enter for free with their military ID. There will be a fireworks display following the show on Saturday night.
This year’s rodeo will showcase talented rodeo athletes from around the country competing in events such as bull riding, roping, mustang riding, wrestling and barrel racing. The rodeo will also feature country singer Chance Danison, stunt rider Shelby Clift and rodeo clown Craig Miller.
“We’re excited to bring back the annual Hopper Championship Rodeo for another year of exciting rodeo action and family fun,” Event organizer Patty Hopper said. “Our rodeo is not only about showcasing the skills and talents of rodeo athletes, but also about bringing the community together to create memorable experiences.”
In addition to the eight rodeo events, attendees can enjoy live music, ride a mechanical bull, food vendors, shop at the apparel and accessories tent and ride an actual Brahmin bull.
“The annual Hopper Championship Rodeo is an event for the whole family to enjoy, there is something for everyone,” Patty Hopper said. “We invite everyone to experience the thrill of our outdoor rodeo.”
