On the instructions of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the His Highness Al Nahyan has approved the payment of housing benefits worth AED 3.1 to 1,807 Abu Dhabi citizens.
The scheme includes ready-made housing grants worth AED 1 billion for low-income individuals and various housing loans worth AED 2.1 billion to citizens.
The second home package will be handed out during the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebrations.
This demonstrates the wise leadership’s commitment to raising living standards, ensuring a decent life for citizens, and strengthening social stability to continue Abu Dhabi’s holistic development journey.
The second housing scheme 2023 brings the total housing benefits paid by citizens of Abu Dhabi to more than AED6 billion in 2023, benefiting 3,607 citizens in different parts of the emirate.
Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Ministry of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, addressed President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan His Highness Bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his continued support and appreciation to the Ministry and his unwavering commitment to meet the needs of all citizens. Sheikh Mohammed’s efforts have contributed to enhancing social welfare and improving living standards.
Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said: “The wise leadership directed to pay for second home schemes in 2023 reflects that they provide citizens with every decent means of living and improving living standards and the well-being of the entire community in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Recently, the Falah and Sweihan residential projects were inaugurated, providing citizens with around 1,000 new high-quality homes.”
