ABU DHABI, 23rd June, 2023 (WAM) — The Environment Authority of Abu Dhabi, EAD, and du, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company, EITC, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a groundbreaking partnership , designed to leverage the latest technology to enhance more than 20 long-term, high-efficiency sustainability initiatives.
The Alliance provides comprehensive support for the implementation of initiatives to increase environmental awareness and supports individuals in adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.
The MoU establishes a clear framework to coordinate understanding and cooperation between the two parties to help them achieve their combined goal of enhancing environmental communication and awareness efforts that will benefit millions of people, especially on climate change.
Dr Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of EAD, said: “We are delighted to strengthen cooperation between EAD and du in the field of technology as part of the UAE’s ambitious vision for sustainable development. This partnership will also allow us to intensify our efforts to increase public awareness and engagement using innovative communication tools.
