Hasan Jasem Al Nowais, CEO and Managing Director of M42 Group, noted that the partnership will create a more inclusive ecosystem for PoDs in Abu Dhabi.
“Integrating people of determination into all aspects of our society is our highest priority as this is an integral community we care deeply about. Through this partnership we aim to apply a model of social integration , a model in which we can influence, collaborate and support the social and educational ecosystem in the emirate, and lead other entities to follow suit. M42 is delighted to join a growing supportive community of people determined to seek better education, employment and overall A sense of accomplishment.”
The collaboration is in line with the Abu Dhabi People of Resolve Strategy 2020-2024, which aims to support PoD and their families through an integrated system of high-quality services, ensuring their contribution to society with private and third sector participation fully contribute.
M42 is helping schools with diagnostic practices and support through different assets of Mubadala Health. Amana Healthcare and Danat Al Emarat Hospital already provide on-campus support services in accordance with policies set by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). A key initiative is its screening program, which aims to detect developmental problems in young children early.
These programs and initiatives are in line with the global shift from a medical model to a social model approach, covering healthcare, social care and education. The goal of this transformation is to remove barriers and create a PoD-friendly environment that promotes inclusion and equal opportunity.
