Abdullah bin Salem visits World Padel Academy

Sharjah [UAE]June 26 (ANI/WAM): Sharjah Deputy Ruler Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi today visited the World Padel Academy in Rahmaniyah (WPA) building. Upon his arrival at the WPA building, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem toured the corridors of the building, reviewing the various sports facilities that support and promote sports in the society.

During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem watched a series of competitions and training events at his sports complex, targeting different age groups and sporting levels, from beginners to professionals . Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem visited the men’s and women’s gymnasiums separately, as the gymnasium provides privacy for women in addition to providing various sports equipment and professional trainers holding international certificates.

The academy also has a post-injury recovery centre, a rehabilitation centre, an indoor jogging track, a padel sports equipment store and a café for academy members. The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah was accompanied during his visit by Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ministry of Civil Aviation; Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, Minister of Urban Planning and Surveying, Sharjah; Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Sharjah Chairman of Sharjah Sports Committee; Ahmed Al Qaseer, Executive Director of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority “Shurooq”, and various academy officials.
