[ad_1]

Abu Dhabi [UAE], June 5 (ANI/WAM): In line with World Environment Day and its commitment to a healthy environment, the Abu Dhabi Municipality has organized a series of workshops and educational events in collaboration with strategic partners. The goal is to raise awareness among community members of the importance of protecting the natural world.

One of the events, held at the Al Shahama Civic Center in Al Bahia Park, saw experts from the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, Friends of the Environment and Abu Dhabi Environment Authority provide valuable insights on climate change. The event underscored the leadership’s strong commitment to comprehensive environmental protection.

In Rabdan Park, Madinat Zayed Civic Center organized an event targeting school students and local residents in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer). The initiative aims to foster community engagement and educate participants on the importance of maintaining a healthy environment, reducing waste and enhancing the aesthetics of cities. The distribution of trees, roses and agricultural seedlings encourages active community participation in reforestation and beautification of the area.

In the Musaffah Industrial Estate, Musaffah Civic Center in collaboration with Friends of the Environment Association organized a workshop to raise awareness among workers and strategic partners on the importance of a clean and waste-free environment. Considering the positive impact of agriculture on the environment, the campaign also aims to motivate these groups to engage in agricultural production and enhance green spaces in industrial areas.
