The organizing committee has announced that the new edition of the popular Sheikh Zayed Festival will be held in the Al Wathba area of ​​Abu Dhabi from November 17, 2023 to March 9, 2024.

The festival will be under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and under the aegis of Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Courts Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Held under the guidance of His Highness Al Nahyan.

This year’s event will host a series of grand cultural, entertainment, social and sporting events.

The committee is gearing up for the launch of the new edition, noting that the annual festival will continue to focus on promoting its key message of preserving the country’s heritage, affirming the depth of Emirati civilization and passing it on to future generations, and reinforcing its role in promoting Abu Dhabi as a role in the status of the region and the world as a leading tourist and cultural destination.

The committee released no further details about the number of events, pavilions or performances. Over the years, however, the festival has broken world records for the largest fireworks and drone displays. Plus, there’s the Emirates Fountain, a dazzling laser show, a weekly firework display, events at the International Pavilion, cultural dances and performances for all ages.

The festival is named after the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, emphasizing his pioneering role in preserving the nation’s heritage and cultural heritage.

At the same time, the committee stressed that it has been rolling out new programs to enhance the festival’s status as one of the most prominent cultural and heritage events that reflect the UAE’s identity.

The festival is a major tourist attraction, attracting thousands of visitors each year to the fun-filled and family-focused event and to witness a celebration of Emirati culture and heritage.
