harrison ford laugh at Conan O’Brien When he grilled the former late-night host why he doesn’t remember the actor’s iconic role as Han Solo on “The Movie”star wars” Movie Series.
ford, Appearing in “Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend”” questioned his research after the podcast host mentioned the actor’s father’s nationality, which O’Brien said was Germany and Ireland.
“My father was Irish, Irish. No German,” Ford said.
“Okay, I refer you to this piece of paper here that says was born and raised in Chicago to an Irish/German father,” O’Brien pointed out.
For that claim, Ford pointed to O’Brien’s interview notes.
“If that’s the quality of your research, which I think it is, because it says ‘Harrison Ford,’ then you have to write ‘Han Solo,'” Ford said.
“Yeah, I did,” O’Brien said.
“You don’t fucking remember?” Ford asked.
O’Brien joked that he didn’t remember Han Solo, suggesting the actor wasn’t “popular” in the film series.
“I remember Chewbacca. I remember the bad guy in the black helmet. Then, there were some guys,” O’Brien said.
“Why aren’t you on TV yet?” Ford asked.
“I think it’s obvious why I’m not on TV anymore,” O’Brien replied.
