UAV flight test support engineers typically have overall responsibility for the planning of a specific flight test phase, which includes preparing the test plan with other analysis and/or systems engineers
main duty:
· Able to accurately and safely operate fixed-wing remote control aircraft in pure manual mode
· Flight test planning, coordination, participation, analysis and reporting
· Work closely with engineering design and certification teams to ensure all planned flight test activities meet requirements and company timelines
· Meter definition, installation, operation and maintenance
· Maintain documentation and data management of all flight test activities
· Review of supporting safety assessments, flight test documentation, operating procedures and limitations
· Participate in the development of aircraft flight manuals, checklists and related publications
Ability to perform drone pre-flight inspections and maintenance
· Capable of operating a UAV ground station and providing critical flight parameters to UAV test pilots
qualifications:
· English oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work in a team environment
· driver’s license
· Willingness to work remotely from the UAE testing site (outdoors)
· Mission planner and/or Q ground control operations
· Remote control fixed wing pilot
· Reduce flight test data using Matlab or similar
experience:
· At least 7 years experience in UAS system testing and operation
· Any relevant engineering degree
· ICAO/EASA Level 2 Flight Test Engineer/Pilot Competence, or equivalent
· Experience in the design, manufacture, testing, operation and maintenance of fixed-wing remote-controlled hobby aircraft
