AIME 350 Exhibitors Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Events (AIME) recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in Melbourne, Australia with 350 exhibitors, an increase of over 50% over AIME 2022.

AIME 2023 is the first trade show on the international business events calendar and will be in its fifth year in partnership with Talk2 Media & Events and AIME owner Melbourne Convention Bureau (MCB).

Exhibitors include convention bureaus, partners and suppliers from all states of Australia as well as international destinations including Japan, New Zealand, Hawaii, Qatar, Philippines, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and more.

Over 400 hosted buyers attended AIME, reflecting an increase of over 40% for AIME 2002 (100 international buyers/300 domestic buyers). Buyers come from Australia, India, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, North Asia and Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Over 12,000 meetings were held during the two-day trade show, attended by 33 media representatives from around the world.

A total of 25 countries were represented at AIME 2023, with 3,000 visitor buyers, visitor media and visitor suppliers.

AIME 2023 New Products
AIME welcomes nine AIME Ambassadors to the show – representing different sectors of the industry to help amplify the value of business events.

New partitions in the showroom enhance networking and navigation, while product and destination areas aid in wayfinding. The new Victoria section occupies the largest area of the showroom.

AIME Activate and AIME Activate Live showcase new products and suppliers on the show floor to help event planners activate and upgrade their events – an area twice as large as AIME 2022.

The event features a new Technology Zone showcasing the latest and greatest in event technology.
To celebrate AIME’s 30th anniversary, commemorative ‘legacy lanyards’ were distributed to all attendees in partnership with Aboriginal creative agency Little Rocket and sponsor Business Events Geelong. The lanyard features custom native artwork in a vibrant and bold design to commemorate AIME’s 30th anniversary and tell a celebratory story. – trade arab news agency
