Airline Offers 10kg Extra Baggage for UAE-Pakistan Flights

Pakistan’s Serene Air is providing passengers with an extra 10kg of luggage on flights between UAE and Pakistan until the end of the following month. The airline announced on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) that it would offer 50kg (40kg plus 10) for Economy Class travelers, 30kg (20 plus 10) for the Free Baggage category, and 10kg for passengers with Nil Baggage tickets on UAE-Pakistan flights until September 30.

The UAE-Pakistan route is among the busiest air corridors, given the 1.7 million Pakistani residents in the Emirates, constituting the second-largest expat community in the Gulf country. Additionally, Pakistan is a major source market for local airlines.

In the summer of 2023, Pakistan ranked among the top five busiest inbound routes for Emirates airline.

Serene Air also revealed that it is offering 60kg for Economy Class and 80kg for Serene Plus Class on a special flight scheduled for August 30 between Islamabad and Dubai.

This comes as a considerable number of UAE residents are returning before schools reopen in September after the summer break.

Airfares from Pakistan to the UAE are notably elevated due to high demand from people returning from vacations.
