BFL to build fully automated warehouse facility in Dubai


One of the leading off-price and multi-brand retailers, BFL Group has opened a new office in Technopark within Dubai’s Jebel Ali Industrial Estate as part of a wider plan to expand its workforce and operations over the next five years.

In a statement, the company said the new office, combined with unique facilities to ensure a vibrant environment for employees, demonstrates BFL Group’s commitment to providing an attractive workplace for its teams.

The facility covers an area of ​​3,500 square meters and includes multiple recreational facilities such as: recreation room, gym, brainstorming area, cafeteria and sleeping pods.

It said the group’s investment of around AED12 million (US$3.26 million) aimed to continue driving employee engagement and productivity while delivering unrivaled value to customers.

It added that in addition to office space, BFL Group has also established a 30,000-square-meter warehouse in Jafza.

Toufic Kredieh, CEO and co-founder, said: “At BFL Group, our aim is to support our employees in their pursuit of excellence. In order to provide quality service to our customers, we believe that we must bring out the best in our employees. Leisure spaces are integrated into our new office, and our aim is to make working more enjoyable.”

He said the new facility is fully automated with logistics solutions to handle everything from receiving goods to order processing and subsequent shipments.

“These amenities are designed to increase the energy, confidence, morale and productivity of our workforce,” he noted.

“Additionally, our mission is to grow our team and provide more employment opportunities to strengthen our position in the GCC market and further expand our business.
