Jennie from Blackpink Announces a ‘Solo Journey’: Speculations on Her Departure from the K-Pop Girl Group-1

Blackpink’s Jennie shared a surprise with fans, revealing her ‘solo journey‘ as she launches her own label, ‘OA.’ This development follows the group’s recent contract renewal with YG Entertainment, leaving questions about individual contracts.

Social Media Revelation 

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, Jennie shared the news along with pictures, expressing gratitude for the past year’s love. She announced her upcoming solo venture in 2024 with the newly established company, OA, and urged fans to support both her new journey and BLACKPINK.

OA Label Origins: Blackpink 

Founded in November 2023, OA, or ODDATELIER, aims to create unconventional content that stands out. Jennie’s label introduction on the website states, “OA, which stands for ODDATELIER, is a space that aims to create new things that attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected. It is a label founded by artist Jennie in November 2023.”

Confirmation Amid Speculations

Despite earlier speculations, Jennie had not confirmed the news until this official announcement, leaving fans eagerly anticipating her solo endeavors.
