Brian Cox hasn’t seen the ending of “Successor” | Entertainment News

Brian Cox has yet to watch the Inheritance finale.

The 76-year-old actor didn’t like seeing himself on screen and admitted he was “unwilling” to watch further episodes of the acclaimed series following the death of his media mogul Logan Roy earlier this season. final episode.

Speaking on “Sunday with Laura Kuensberg,” he said: “First of all, I never liked watching myself. Somehow, I’ve been reluctant to watch because of what happened to Logan.

“I know how it’s going to end because I know Logan has it all sorted.

“So I think Logan won in the end, even though he’s in his grave.”

The Scottish actor admits he doesn’t “stick” to a project once he’s done working on it.

He added: “It’s a weird situation where I’m not attached to certain things. When it’s over, it’s over and I move on. And I’ve found the show to be fantastic, it’s one of the best. All time show – especially for me.

“The wealth gap fascinates me, people getting poorer and people getting richer.

“And the wealthier people get so far away from it, they’re so detached. That’s what our show is dealing with, and obviously they’re getting their only dessert at the end.

“I haven’t seen the ending yet, but apparently they got their dessert.”

Bryan’s comments come after he recently admitted he felt “refused” to be killed off so early in the season.

Speaking on “Brian Cox: The Amorajan Interview,” he said: “It was a weird feeling.

“I mistakenly saw it as a rejection. In the end I felt fine, but I did feel a little bit rejected.

“I kind of felt like, ‘Oh, all the work I’ve done. In the end I’m going to be a New Yorker on the airplane carpet’.”

Bryan admitted he felt Logan was killed “prematurely” in the series, but praised showrunner Jesse Armstrong for “brilliantly” delivering the story.

he said he [Armstrong] The decision to let Logan die, I think was ultimately premature.

“I mean, he had him die in the third episode. That scene was great. That’s why I didn’t watch it because I wasn’t interested. My own death was coming soon.

“But I just thought, ‘Wow,’ you know, he did a great job. That was a great scene, the whole performance.”
