Cardi B took a stand in a federal court case Thursday morning, explaining to the judge and jury that she wanted to kill herself after blogger Tasha K brought charges about her personal and sexual life back in 2018.
according to TMZCardi later appeared in court and said, “I want to kill myself” after Tasha made multiple videos claiming Cardi was a prostitute and contracted various sexually transmitted diseases. She added: “I’m frustrated and frustrated and I don’t want to sleep with my husband.”
Cardi B went on to explain that she didn’t think she should have had daughter Kulture, who was born shortly after the charges were laid, and told the jury she experienced fatigue, anxiety, weight loss and migraines. She even said she decided to seek treatment because of the videos.
“Only evil people can do this,” Cardi B said.
Cardi B is suing Tasha K for allegedly defaming her in multiple videos in which she made disturbing and shocking statements about the rapper. In the video, Tasha claims Cardi “fucked herself up with a beer bottle on the stripper stage”.
Tasha also claimed Cardi had herpes, which the rapper denied in her testimony, recalling an example where she posted a photo of her daughter Kulture kissing the lips, which people criticized for doing so.
According to Billboard, a Law360 report states that Tasha was questioned by Cardi’s lawyers at the start of the trial and admitted that she knowingly spread rumors about Cardi B in order to raise money for her business.
The trial is scheduled to resume on Tuesday, 18 January.
