Cher recalled that Willie Nelson’s tour bus was “flooded” with drugs.
The “If I Could Turn Back Time” singer, 76, told “The Kelly Clarkson Show” the car also smelled of marijuana.
Cher added: “OMG I got on Willie Nelson’s bus! It totally smelled like marijuana.
“I couldn’t believe it. I mean, it was a crappy old bus, but he was great. Just drugs—everywhere.”
Kelly, 40, added in a chat with Cher on Monday (26.12.22) about the time she gave her “snacks” on the bus: “It’s amazing. It’s like you walk into a shop, Like some old Airstream in LA…they sell stuff there.
“Like, when you walk in, everything you want is there, but when you walk out, you’re definitely hungry.”
Willie, 89, who has advocated for federal marijuana legalization and launched his cannabis company, Willie’s Reserve, in 2015, told Rolling Stone in 2019 that he “couldn’t live” without it, and Claiming cannabis “saved my life” lives. “
He added: “If I kept drinking and smoking like I did at 30, 40, I wouldn’t live to be 85.
“I think marijuana made me not want to kill people. It probably also stopped a lot of people from trying to kill me — getting drunk and running around.”
Cher and Kelly’s admissions come after Snoop Dogg said his highest drug use was during his breakup with country music veteran Willie.
The 51-year-old rapper said he wanted to quit weed when he was with the 89-year-old but didn’t want to appear “soft”.
Snoop, a father of four, was born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, he says on the new episode of “Let’s Go!” Podcast with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray when he’s asked when he’s most drunk: “With Willie f****** Nelson. We’re in Amsterdam on April 20th ( April 20th is the annual Global Cannabis Celebration), where he is giving a concert.
“So, we went back to his hotel room and we were playing dominoes.
“I was playing dominoes one-on-one with him. He (was) yelling my ass off and I was just getting higher and higher.
“He kept handing it (marijuana) to me, and I was like, ‘This motherfucker smokes more than I do.'”
