UAE weather: Temperatures could drop to 8Oc on New Year’s Eve

The National Weather Center said today was generally cloudy.

There will be low clouds over some coastal areas and islands in the west, and there may be light rain during the day.

Breezes to mid-winds will blow, sometimes refreshing with clouds.

Temperatures in the country could reach as high as 28oC. Mercury temperatures will rise to 26oC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

However, temperatures could drop as low as 17oC in Abu Dhabi, 18oC in Dubai and as low as 8oC in the mountains.

Humidity levels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai will be between 30% and 75%. Some interior areas will be very humid in the evening and Sunday morning.

Conditions at sea will be light to moderate, with the Arabian Gulf becoming choppy overnight as it heads west, and the Sea of ​​Oman becoming light.
