The appellant company explained that it had insured loss, damage and civil liability insurance for the appellee’s vehicle, but failed to pay the corresponding amount.
The court clarified that the consultancy expert’s report proved that the insurance company had issued 20 policies, but the appellant company had not paid their value of Dhs34,665.
The court explained that it was satisfied with the expert’s report that, apart from the fact that the company under appeal did not provide evidence that it cleared the sums itself, the court was obliged to pay the insurance company Dhs34,665 plus 5% interest annually from the date of filing the suit until Full payment.
