Crazy Golf Bros! | UAE Golf – Gulf News

Bobby and Jack, from Brentwood, Essex, England, have lived for two years at the Jumeirah Golf Estate on the 13th hole of the Earth Course with their dad, Brian and mum Sacha.

They first started golfing at TOPGOLF Chigwell in Essex and have always enjoyed every opportunity to play miniature golf.

The boys are not currently members of the Emirates Golf Club, but attend lessons at the Tommy Fleetwood Academy at the DP World Golf Performance Center at Jumeirah Golf Estates and play par 3 at the Trump International Golf Club and the Dubai Creek Par Course and Emirates Golf Club par 3.

bobby took class with him Joe O’Connor Jack and Dilmard Fraser. When the Dubai summer heats up, they practice indoors at Tommy Fleetwood Academy and then play at TOPGOLF at the Emirates Golf Club. That’s when they aren’t watching their favorite football team Arsenal on TV!

“We were impressed that golf was always a boy’s decision. We now have a putting green in our garden and they all have the discipline to practice around school work”, says mum.

“My husband Brian has just started playing, he’s a member of JGE and already has 10 handicaps.”

passion and discipline

“It has been a joy for me to be able to spend so much time playing golf with the kids. We are so proud of the enthusiasm and discipline they have shown in practice. Now that the whole family is playing, it’s great for us Great fun for all,” Dad said.

“We have been impressed with the progress the boys have made on the full golf course – they play regularly at Jumeirah Golf Estate and Montgomery Golf Club.

The boys have also been busy playing championship golf. Bobby is fourth on the Trump International Youth Medal of Merit list from October 2022 to March 2023, despite missing several games due to injury. Jack finished third in the same event.

Bobby also competed in the United Arab Emirates Kids Championships, finishing 2nd at Al Hamra, 1st at Tower Links, 1st at Yas Links Abu Dhabi and again in his age group at the Grand Final at Montgomery Golf Club. one!

hole in one

With Bobby winning the season, UAE Kids UAE qualified him for the Junior World Championships in Pinehurst, USA during the first week of August. Jack’s accomplishments include a hole-in-one on the ninth hole in a junior tournament at Trump International Golf Club last November.

When the DP World Tour was in town last year, the boys met Sean Lowry at the 2022 DP World Tour Championship. Since then, the organizers of the DP World Tour Championship have been in touch to discuss how to cooperate in the future, which is exciting.

their other favorite golfers are Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy, Adrianos and arian melonc.

Jack and Bobby will travel to Pinehurst, USA to compete in the US Junior Junior Championships. They represent the UAE in the age group 5 to 12 years old.

25,000 entrants from 50 countries competed in 1,800 races, with the winners advancing to the World Finals.
