Dubai Chambers NASSCOM Deal to Boost Agentic AI
Dubai is strengthening its push into artificial intelligence after Dubai Chambers signed a Memorandum of Understanding with India’s National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM).
The Dubai Chambers NASSCOM agreement focuses on expanding cooperation in Agentic AI and helping Indian companies working in Agentic AI and deep technology grow their businesses in Dubai. The MoU was announced on August 19, 2026.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will work to connect businesses, investors, entrepreneurs and other players from the technology sectors in Dubai and India. They will also support knowledge sharing and organise specialised events and joint initiatives focused on Agentic AI.
The partnership could give Indian technology companies more opportunities to enter Dubai’s growing digital economy. Dubai Chambers said the cooperation will help Indian Agentic AI and deep-tech companies establish and expand their operations in the emirate.
Agentic AI refers to AI systems that can carry out tasks, make decisions and take actions with less human involvement than traditional software. Businesses are increasingly exploring the technology for automation, productivity and customer services.
The deal also supports Dubai’s wider plan to encourage businesses to adopt Agentic AI. Dubai Chambers formed an Executive Committee for Agentic AI earlier this year. Its work includes developing specialised training, supporting AI companies and creating incubators for businesses working in the field.
For India, the agreement provides another route for technology companies to explore Dubai as a base for international growth. For Dubai, it strengthens links with one of the world’s largest technology ecosystems.
The partnership is therefore not only about AI. It also highlights the growing technology and business relationship between India and the UAE, while supporting Dubai’s ambition to become a major hub for future technologies.
