Dubai Derma 2023 to kick off on March 1

The 22nd Dubai World Dermatology & Laser Conference & Exhibition – Dubai Derma 2023 will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from March 1st to 3rd.

The largest scientific dermatology gathering in the MENA and Indian subcontinent regions will bring together dermatology experts, industry leaders and key policy makers from the region and around the world.

Around 340 international speakers will share their expertise through 360 scientific sessions, including 80 seminars, and will present 90 digital poster presentations of international professionals.

Major topics that will be discussed at the event include medical, therapeutic, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Clinical case presentations aimed at enhancing the understanding of various new procedures and diagnostics were one of the main highlights of the event.

Derma 2023 in Dubai is expected to welcome over 24,000 visitors from 114 participating countries to discuss scientific knowledge and explore business opportunities in the field.

More than 1,440 international brands from more than 480 regional and global companies will be on display. The show will also feature dedicated country pavilions from Korea, France and Italy, where the most popular products from major global brands can be purchased and distributed.

Themed “Shaping the Future of Dermatology and Aesthetics,” the event will provide a platform for industry players and professionals from around the world.

A number of lectures and seminars will discuss the latest developments in dermatology, medical and aesthetic aspects, therapeutics and pharmaceuticals, and discuss the most important issues relevant to the sector, including the challenges it faces and ways to overcome them.

Dr Hassan Galadari, Chairman of the Dubai Derma Scientific Committee, said: “This year’s Dubai Derma is a celebration of the field, those who work in it, and those who are training to become future dermatologists. Dubai Derma 2023 also includes four days of pre-conferences and workshops, including specialist sessions before the initial event from 26 February to 1 March, which address the latest scientific developments in the treatment of serious and cosmetic dermatological conditions . Course topics include psoriasis, pediatric dermatology, difficult cases of clinical dermatology, diseases affecting the skin of the face and how to make a proper diagnosis, a complete hair course, and more, covering specialized areas of the body.

The Arab Academy of Dermatology and Aesthetics (AADA), the largest, most influential and representative dermatology body in the Arab region, will also host the AADA Fellowship in Dermatology, Cosmetology and Laser.

The program of lessons will begin the day before Dubai Derma as a preparatory course and continue throughout the event and cover specialized scientific procedures to enhance skills and techniques through enhanced lessons.

The global dermatology market size exceeds USD 20 billion and is expected to reach nearly USD 60 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 11.5% from 2021 to 2030.

The demand for specialized dermatology equipment is increasing owing to the high demand for early diagnosis of diseases and skin conditions.

Dubai Derma is also a regional official supporter of the World Congress of Dermatology, which will be held from 3rd to 8th July, organized by the International Federation of Dermatological Societies. – trade arab news agency
