Dubai Sustainable Transport Award 2026 Draws More Than 750 Applications
The Dubai Sustainable Transport Award 2026 has attracted more than 750 applications from government entities, businesses, universities and other organisations across the UAE and the wider region.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) said the 14th edition received more than 750 applications across its targeted sectors and categories. The figure exceeded the award’s target by more than 400%, showing strong interest in sustainable mobility and transport innovation.
The winners will be honoured at a ceremony on October 15 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will recognise projects and ideas that support cleaner, safer and more efficient transportation.
The 2026 edition features 12 awards across four main categories: Elite, Sustainability, Inclusivity and Innovation. The categories cover areas such as sustainable cities, clean energy for mobility, transport safety, first- and last-mile solutions, accessibility and new transport technologies.
The Elite Award represents the highest level of recognition and will honour the strongest entry across the award categories.
RTA has also announced support from seven major UAE organisations for this year’s award. Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and ENOC Group are Strategic Sponsors. United Motors & Heavy Equipment and Al Fahim Motors are Gold Sponsors, while Parkin, Mada Media and Dubai Customs are Silver Sponsors.
RTA said these partnerships will strengthen cooperation around sustainable transport, innovation and smarter mobility solutions.
The high number of applications highlights growing interest in sustainable transportation across the region. The October 15 ceremony will provide the next major update as Dubai prepares to recognise organisations and projects contributing to the future of mobility.
