Dubai’s Charms Education hosting Study Abroad Fair this month

Thousands of 11th and 12th-grade students from the UAE will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from over 25 universities in the USA, Canada, the UK, and Germany at the upcoming two-day Charms Education – Study Abroad Fair 2023. The event will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Waterfront in Business Bay from September 30 to October 1. This fair allows students to explore scholarships and affordable tuition fees for academic programs, with application deadlines approaching for the Fall 2024 intake.

Organized by Charms Education Services, a leading student advisory firm, this event is expected to draw thousands of students seeking opportunities for higher education. The fair aligns with a time when a growing number of Grade 12 and graduate students are preparing to apply for higher studies in Canada, the USA, the UK, and Germany, coming from various educational curricula like the British, American, IB, CBSE, ICSE, and Federal Board.

Canada, in particular, has seen a significant increase in study permit applications, with a 23 percent rise in 2022 compared to the previous year. The government’s commitment to accepting more immigrants and the expansion of opportunities for international students make Canada an attractive destination.

The UAE has been a significant source of students for universities in Canada, the USA, the UK, and Australia. The number of Emirati students going to US universities peaked at 100,926 in 2015, but there was a 12 percent decrease in the 2019-20 period due to the availability of similar educational curricula in the UAE.

Charms Education Services, known for assisting students in their international education journeys, aims to provide a platform for students and parents to meet representatives from over 25 prestigious universities and higher education institutes. This opportunity allows them to discuss their academic choices, scholarship options, and post-study work permits.

Manish Paitka, CEO of Charms Education, said that the fair reflects Charms’ commitment to helping students secure admission in reputed institutions worldwide and promoting UAE-based universities and foreign university campuses in the UAE.Manish Paitka, CEO of Charms Education.

The Charms Education – Study Abroad Fair 2023 Dubai aims to bridge the gap between students and parents in the GCC countries and recruiters and academic leaders from Canada, the USA, the UK, Germany, and the UAE. The fair also addresses students’ needs related to immigration, work permits, and permanent residency in these countries.

Rahul Paitka, Managing Director of Charms Education Services, highlighted Charms’ recognition as a “TOP RECRUITMENT AGENCY – 2022” by many Canadian universities and colleges. Charms has a strong record of supporting study abroad aspirants and helping students find suitable academic programs, scholarships, and pre-departure assistance.
