It’s easy to remind people that there will be another in 2023, but for some graduating, they’ll be leaving Nacogdoches forever, missing out on seeing their last bonfire. However, we hope that the drone show will be as memorable for seniors as the campfires of the past.
Back to school is about creating memories, enjoying traditions and having a good time; without fire, this is still possible.Campfire or not, SFA and its surrounding community should thank the university for its responsible decision and swift action to find an alternative programme.
