Emirates completes IATA safety audit with perfect score

[ad_1]

Emirates has completed its latest IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) with a result of zero – the equivalent of a perfect score, which is rare in the industry given the complexity of airline operations.

Sir Tim Clark, Emirates President, said: “Safety is one of Emirates’ core values and from day one we have invested continuously to ensure our operations meet the strictest safety standards. Completing the IOSA audit with zero results is a This is a remarkable achievement, especially given the rapid scale of our operations post-pandemic and the global nature of the Emirates network. This is thanks to our internal teams and external partners who deliver Emirates safely around the world every day Thousands of people and tons of cargo have contributed. We will continue to work hard to contribute to ensuring the safety and sustainable development of the aviation industry.”

Auditors accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) assessed more than 1,000 Standards and Recommended Practices over five days to determine the extent to which Emirates’ operations management system complies with IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARP).

With this robust audit report, Emirates demonstrated the rigor of its systems and processes to ensure the safe operating practices and airworthiness of its modern Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 fleet.

Emirates promotes a strong safety culture at all levels of the organisation. Whenever regulations are revised or new aircraft are introduced, the airline’s operational safety policy is continuously reviewed and revised to meet the highest standards. The Emirates Compliance Monitoring Team continually audits the airline’s systems and practices across its network against IOSA standards to identify and manage non-compliance. Emirates’ senior executives are also briefed on the organization’s compliance status as part of regular management reviews to maintain safety levels in an ever-changing industry.

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) program is an internationally recognized and accepted assessment system designed to assess an airline’s operational management and control systems. All IATA members are registered with IOSA and must remain registered in order to maintain their IATA membership. – trade arab news agency
